Despite decades of global health dialogue around the importance of "quality MNH commodities," the real drivers of access – market incentives – remain largely unexamined and misaligned across key actors. This highly interactive session will address the persistent issue where incentives across actors – Ministries of Health, procurers, suppliers, development partners, providers – are not aligned to ensure provision of quality assured MNH commodities. It begins with a presentation of the evidence base, followed by a moderated panel featuring diverse market actors who will explore incentive misalignments and respond to real time audience input. Participants will then break into small groups to develop bold solutions to specific challenges, guided by facilitators and panelists. Groups will then present their ideas for panelist feedback. The session will close with a synthesis of key takeaways and participant commitments to advance the alignment of incentives for quality MNH commodities.
