Improving Maternal Health Outcomes through WHO Evidence-Based Tools and Strategies

This panel will share the strategies and new global tools aimed to improve quality of care, promote data use and support evidence-based decision-making. These are essential to ensure timely, respectful, and effective care across the continuum of maternal and newborn health and improve outcomes by using evidence-based tools and approaches. Key discussions will include operationalizing the updated IMPAC tool, enhancing the quality of intrapartum care through Labour Care Guide implementation, leveraging the RMNCH compendium to support integrated service delivery, and strengthening MPDSR systems to move from review to effective response.
